Portman's Music Academy introduces a restart of our children’s programs for ages 3 to 5 on September 19, 2023.

These classes will be available on Saturday mornings and Tuesday afternoons:

Your preschoolers will combine their love of music with storytelling and imaginative play and will celebrate the unique joys of your growing child.

• Chants and stories will help your preschooler learn new words, explore new ideas and find ways to express themselves through theme related chants.

• Singing and moving combines their love of singing and moving to encourage the budding musician to express themselves.

• Pretend play builds on your preschooler’s imagination and incorporates their ideas into activities.

Your young child will have pressure free time in class where they can develop a strong musical foundation by exploring rhythms, musical symbols and playing some keyboard along with using their voice.

Benjamin Cates, with a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Bowling Green State University, Bowling Green, Ohio will be teaching this class. He has 10 years’ experience in teaching preschool on up.

These are 6-week classes held either on Tuesday afternoon at 4:30 or Saturday at noon. The cost is $125 which includes all materials.
